What does CFP & AEP Mean?

A CFP®, Certified Financial Planner, is someone who has met four categories of requirements; education, examination, experience, and ethics, conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. CFPs have a duty to act in the best interests of the client and place the client’s interests above the CFP® professionals.

The AEP®,  Accredited Estate Planner. It is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils to professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, & character.
